Biography:
Corey Vogt comes to North Adams after a terrific season as a reliever at Keene State College. Vogt appeared in 17 games and went 1-1 with a 1.05 ERA. He struck out 32 batters while walking just 9 in 25 2/3 innings. He also recorded five saves as he held opponents to a .171 average.
Vogt went 3-1 with a 6.23 ERA in 10 appearances and 7 starts as a sophomore in 2009. He struck out 31 batters while walking 16 in 34 2/3 innings pitched that year. He went 2-0 in 11 relief appearances as a freshman.
Before attending Keene State, Vogt was an all-conference selection and
league MVP at Suffield High School while his team earned four consecutive berths to the state tournament.
